Mother and Teen Volunteering

Akka Project is a Sydney-based charity that partners with the Parikrma Foundation in Bangalore to create meaningful, life-changing experiences for mothers and daughters.

Each year, our groups travel to India and are warmly welcomed into a vibrant community, where they connect, learn, and contribute in ways that go far beyond the classroom. Through these shared experiences, both volunteers and students are inspired by one another, forming genuine relationships, broadening perspectives, and nurturing a deeper sense of empathy and global awareness.
